Why should you always stay at a boutique hotel?
When you book a vacation, the first thing to decide is where you want to go. This is definitely the most important step because you don't want to end up with a vacation from hell.
Once your goals are set, the next step is to think about where you'll be staying, which usually boils down to two choices: chain hotels and luxury boutique hotels. Where you stay on vacation can determine the whole vacation; Terrible hotels will ask you to return to your desk, while good hotels will never make you return to your old life.
When you book a package tour, you don't have much control over where you stay at the resort and you usually end up in a hotel chain or one affiliated with a tour operator. However, plan your own vacation and you have the option of staying at a boutique hotel.
While boutique hotels share the same space as hotel chains, the rooms will be very different. Instead of focusing on quantity, boutiques go for quality, offering travelers large rooms with luxurious amenities and a more relaxed home-like atmosphere.
Another area where boutique hotels have a distinct advantage over chain hotels is customer service. Hotel chain staff, while highly skilled at their jobs, are trained to handle large crowds and get guests through the door as quickly as possible.
This can make guests feel very unwelcome. A boutique hotel operates on a much smaller scale and therefore staff can treat visitors more warmly and welcomingly.
